This week's task was to make some changes to the apartment floor plans to fit with different scenarios and situations. The apartment is already quite spacious, but the functionality is required more than aesthetics depending on the situation. Some rooms need more light, therefore, more windows are required.

SCENARIO_1

6x people inhabitation area

The first thing you notice is the size and dimension of this apartment. Straightforward and easy to manipulate around the rooms and walls to create an evenly spaced area for 6 beds. I added a staircase because this apartment has 2 floors flats so I made it one one each floor There are 2 bedrooms, a toilet and a kitchen with a dining area. The purpose of this plain apartment setting is to create a minimilastic inhabitation area where everything is only an arms length away.

SCENARIO_2

Disabled friendly apartment

The most crucial aspect of a disabled friendly apartment is comfortability and spaciousness. This is due to wheel chairs having large dimensions and big 360 degree turning points. This apartment includes a lift for wheelchair access as well as a staircase. It has a masterbedroom with a queen sized bed to ensure comfortability and big enough door spans to fit a wheel chair. The kitchen, dining area and living room are all in one room to create a simple and easy accessible spatial area.
