Week 9 Developing more ideas

I started resarching on how the stilts/pillar foundation works as the weeks get on I've decided that the best way to redesign my building is to use stilts or pillars to avoid excavating. ​benefits: -friendly to papatuanuku -enhance sustainable design -maximise views -natural ventilation for underneath the building -reduces risk of flooding and weakening the foundation (kaitiakitanga) ​didn't want to excavate land - I don't think that's part of Mauri, however stilts will also need concrete slabs for stability.

I also started redesigning the dustbin shot which will help with reduction of waste the goes to landfills making the building design more sustainable.
