WEEK 1 MODEL MAKING (test model)

I made a model using the limited resources I had at home since it was still level 3, this week I learnt that the height of my building was wrong as each floor should be close to 2.3m. We were allocated into different groups and each group was given different apartment or social housing buildings to research and study throughout the semester.

My group was given the EDIFICIO ALFONSO REYES by AMBROSI | ETCHEGARAY located in Mexico City, Mexico.

​This week's task was to examine the provided floor plans and sections of the building and use those plans as a guide to creating a 1:100 scale cardboard model of our building.

​I didn't have many pieces of cardboard or PVA, so I used a hot glue gun and whatever cardboard/snack boxes from recycling.
